Perricone Top 10 East Ala. Motor Spdwy

The team was finally back in action after multiple rainouts. Crew Chief Bob Thompson had the J&J Auto Racing car set up and fast from the time we unloaded. Hot Laps produced times of 14 second laps. The team has found no luck with pill draws these days and pulled a high number, starting us at the tail of the heat race. Jim was hammer down and never lifting on a track that saw little passing. Jim was able to move up passing three cars and finishing 5th in the heat. Securing enough passing points was helpful in starting Jim 9th in the feature. Bob set the J&J Chassis car up to perfection. Jim ran strong and was able to run 8th up and thru about lap 24. Jim made a few mistakes late and Jumped the cushion and lost a few spots finally settling for a 10th place finish. A good solid run and some good exposure for our sponsors Butlerbuilt Seats and Bell Racing Helmets.
